Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a passion for building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
• Implement best practices for a secure, scalable, and maintainable codebase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript (React), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control tools, especially Git.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
• Ability to design and implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React.
• Experience with IoT protocols like MQTT.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
