What we’re looking for

Vacasa is looking for a competent, energetic, advanced communicator, and leader to join our team as a Service Operation Manager. This person is a hard-working individual who will embody our values while ensuring the successful operation of the housekeeping and maintenance teams. This person will manage a small to medium sized group of housekeepers and maintenance technicians while working closely with the local management team.

Compensation

  • $50000 - $55000 / year. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.
  • Car Allowance up to $150 monthly for eligible employees.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee operation service workflows in assigned market.
  • Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics such as NPS, standard unit appearance, and efficiency.
  • Manage a budget for your department adhering to set annual costs, with the ability to perform a cost-benefit analysis.
  • Manage an efficient and high-quality team, ensuring they are trained, effective, and adhere to all Vacasa policies and procedures.
  • Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails, calls, and tickets.
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
  • Manage contractor relationships and ensure that outsourced work adheres to Vacasa standards
  • Provide cross-coverage for your manager and Co-Manager(s) when necessary

Skills you’ll need

  • Experience creating, mapping, and improving processes
  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior housekeeping experience a plus
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
