What we’re looking for

Vacasa has a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team. Work side-by-side with team members on the creation and implementation of functional, engaging mobile apps for the Vacation Rental market. Your contributions will directly enhance the user experience for guests, owners, as well as support diverse business needs for employees and field operations personnel. Vacasa promotes from within, so there will be ample opportunities to grow as an individual contributor or manager as your career progresses.

What you'll do

• Build mobile apps with maximum reliability, security, speed, and scalability
• Work collaboratively with other teams - both within the department and throughout the organization
• Lead architecture and design decisions within your team
• Grow your team through mentoring in mobile technologies
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and architecture discussions
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry standards

Skills you'll need

• 5+ years engineering work experience
• Deep familiarity with native mobile app development
• iOS and Android development experience, preferably using Swift and/or Kotlin
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful API interfaces

Nice to Have

• Completed a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
• AWS Serverless tech
• Experience in hospitality or travel industry

Compensation

• $3300000 CLP/ gross monthly. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.
