What we’re looking for
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Laundry Facility Manager. Some of the duties of the position include mentoring 5-25 Linen Specialists, facilitating daily team meetings, inspecting the team's work, providing training, and assisting housekeepers and contractors as needed within the warehouse. In addition, the position would entail all aspects of ordering linen inventory and supplies, organizing, stocking amenities, and corresponding with our outstanding local team, as well as our central management team. The Laundry Facility Manager will also assist in the recruiting of additional team members to staff their team.
Compensation
- $50,000 / year

What you’ll do
- Mentoring, training and supporting a group of 5-25 Linen Specialists and assisting them when necessary with the daily duties.
- Corresponding on a regular basis via email and phone with the Local Operations Manager and Housekeeping Managers.
- Corresponding on a regular basis with the Linen Specialist you mentor.
- Ensuring staff follow through on assignments and giving instructions regarding work methods and routines.
- Performing regular inspections of tasks done by Linen Specialists.
- Taking care of warehouse duties as needed.
- Working alongside Housekeeping Managers to ensure that linen bags are packed correctly so our guests enjoy their stay at the properties we manage..
- Replenishing cleaning/laundering supplies such as linens, bathroom and kitchen items.
- Covering for the Local Operations Manager when necessary.
Skills you’ll need
- Lead and motivate your team
- Management experience
- Be able to work in a warehouse that will be hot in the summer and cooler in the winter months
- Keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Keep up with ordering linens and supplies
- Need to be able to communicate with vendors regarding linen and laundry delivery
- Able to manage owners laundry and having it returned in a timely manner.
- Disinfecting equipment and supplies using germicides.
- Laundering linens and towels and replacing them when necessary
