What we’re looking for

As the Director of Operations Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the operations analytics team, developing strategies, and leveraging data to optimize our operations and enhance the overall guest & owner experience. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Technology, to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. Your role will be pivotal in driving operational efficiency, cost reduction, profit optimization, and customer satisfaction across our vacation rental portfolio.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Operations team to identify key performance metrics and develop dashboards, reports. & analysis to monitor operational performance
  • Lead and manage the operations analytics team, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and professional development
  • Develop and execute an analytics roadmap aligned with business goals, ensuring the team's efforts are focused on high-impact initiatives
  • Conduct rigorous analysis of operations data, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and revenue optimization
  • Coordinate with FP&A partners to develop and enhance forecasting models for field, housekeeping, and customer experience costs, seasonal staffing strategies, & overall market profitability
  • Utilize advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques to identify trends and patterns in guest behavior and preferences
  • Collaborate with the Data Products & Ops Product teams to define data requirements and ensure the availability and quality of data for analysis
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in operations analytics

Skills you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience leading an analytics team, experience in the hospitality industry a plus
  • Proficiency in SQL a must, Python, R a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to create meaningful dashboards and reports
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering actionable insights through data analysis
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align analytics initiatives with business objectives
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Strong project management skills, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex analytical concepts to less-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork

You’ll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.

Compensation

  • $155000 - $180000 / year
