The Role
Tripleseat is the platform that over 19,000 hospitality businesses use to manage their group sales, banquet, catering, and event operations. Every aspect of how an event works is defined inside Tripleseat: the lead, the proposal, the contract, the menu, the BEO, the payment, the execution. When you own the operating system, AI can do more than advise. It can act. That is what this role is about.
As the VP of AI Products you will build the AI products that make every Tripleseat customer run a more profitable event business with less manual work. You will ship intelligent agents that respond to leads instantly, generate personalized proposals, nurture and re-engage prospects autonomously, and handle event modifications across every customer channel. You will build revenue intelligence that helps operators create more profitable businesses, and you will deliver these capabilities across all customer segments: restaurants, hotels, and unique venues.
You will be the person closest to the product, closest to the customer, and closest to the technology, shipping AI features that directly move lead-to-book conversion, event revenue, and profit margin. You will spend significant time with customers understanding how they sell, where friction exists, and what it would mean for an AI agent to handle those workflows on their behalf.
What You Will Do

Own the product strategy and delivery of Tripleseat's AI product suite, spanning intelligent lead response, voice AI, revenue intelligence, and agentic workflow automation.

Ship AI agents that autonomously capture, qualify, and convert event leads through digital and voice channels, responding in minutes instead of hours and never letting an inquiry go unanswered.

Build revenue intelligence products powered by network-scale data: dynamic F&B minimum recommendations, menu performance insights, demand forecasting, and market insights.

Define how AI-powered event execution works: automated contract generation, BEO creation, deposit workflows, and an event modification agent that handles cascading changes in a single coordinated workflow.

Make hard prioritization calls between foundational infrastructure and customer-facing features that deliver immediate commercial value. You will sequence a multi-phase roadmap and own the tradeoffs.

Be deeply customer-informed. Spend time with venue operators every week understanding their sales process, watching how they handle leads, and identifying where AI eliminates the manual work that slows them down.

Every PM on this team uses AI to move at a speed that was impossible two years ago, synthesizing hundreds of customer conversations into actionable insight in minutes, going from idea to working prototype in an afternoon, shipping pull requests alongside engineers. We hire people who are energized by this shift, not intimidated by it.
The Director of AI Products will be at the center of this transformation. You are building the products that define Tripleseat's future, and you will operate with the speed, autonomy, and customer obsession that this moment demands.
What You Bring

10+ years in product management with deep experience shipping AI or ML-powered products to paying customers in production, not prototypes or internal tools.

Demonstrated experience using AI tools to build software, synthesize research, and accelerate product delivery, not just prompt engineering, but real workflow transformation.

Track record of owning business outcomes. You can point to revenue, conversion, or efficiency metrics you personally moved.

Deep customer instinct. You talk to customers constantly because you cannot imagine making product decisions without it.

Strong technical foundation in how modern AI systems work: LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, conversational AI, model evaluation, and prompt engineering. You do not need to be an ML engineer, but you make informed technical tradeoffs.

Experience defining success metrics for AI products where quality is probabilistic, not deterministic. You know how to measure whether an AI feature is actually working.

Ability to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, valuable user experiences for non-technical users. Your instinct is to hide the sophistication, not showcase it.
Salary Range: $250,000.00 to $280,000.00 annually
Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, skill set, geographic location, and alignment with our internal compensation framework. This role is also eligible for additional benefits and incentives.
