The Strategic Account Manager owns the long-term success, retention, and commercial growth of the company's largest and most complex enterprise client accounts. Acting as a trusted commercial advisor, the role focuses on building deep, multi-stakeholder relationships at the executive level to align software solutions with overarching client business goals. The position holds high responsibility for managing renewal risks, mitigating revenue churn, and driving expansion opportunities across a high-impact portfolio. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role ensures strategic value delivery and complex problem resolution to maximize client net revenue retention.What You’ll Do
Drives the long-term retention and commercial growth of a high-value portfolio consisting of the company's most complex enterprise client accounts
Establishes and shapes deep, multi-stakeholder relationships at the executive level to anchor the business as a core strategic partner
Develops and executes comprehensive joint success plans that tie platform value directly to client financial and operational objectives
Leads structured business reviews to consistently demonstrate return on investment and uncover strategic expansion pathways
Owns and mitigates portfolio renewal risk by accurately forecasting outcomes and coordinating cross-functional mitigation frameworks
Influences portfolio expansion by identifying and driving upsell, cross-sell, and advanced technology adoption initiatives
Manages complex, multi-stakeholder commercial negotiations to maximize net revenue retention and secure portfolio value
Champions the client's voice internally by partnering with product and operational leadership to resolve complex systemic issues
Designs replicable account management playbooks and strategic frameworks to uplift collective team capabilities and portfolio health
Oversees the maintenance of high-integrity commercial records, pipeline metrics, and data tracking to inform executive decision-making

What You’ll Bring
Executive presence with the ability to influence and persuade senior leadership and C-suite stakeholders
Advanced commercial acumen with a proven ability to model return on investment and tie software capabilities to business outcomes
Strong negotiation and contract management skills to navigate multi-stakeholder commercial environments
Exceptional cross-functional orchestration capabilities to align internal resources around client needs
Data-driven analysis skills to evaluate portfolio health metrics and identify expansion opportunities
Complete knowledge and full understanding of enterprise account management and customer success methodologies within a SaaS framework
Deep understanding of operational workflows, efficiency gaps, and technology integration in complex organizational structures
Understanding of net revenue retention strategies and proactive risk-mitigation frameworks
