Job Context

The Field Marketing Coordinator is responsible for growing the Simpro brand and generating sales leads through developing and executing a highly effective field marketing strategy.

What You’ll Do

Strategy

  • Build and execute a comprehensive advertising strategy with industry association partners, publications and media outlets.

  • Contribute to and implement the marketing strategy, with overall responsibility for delivering key business outcomes.

  • Create and manage the event and advertising budget.

Events & Campaigns

  • Plan and execute marketing events and initiatives that build the Simpro brand and create a healthy pipeline of sales.

  • Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, budget, objectives, messaging, contract negotiations, vendor relations, site selection, agenda planning, logistics and merchandise.

  • Ensure all events are aligned with omnichannel campaigns and optimize results in terms of awareness, enquiries, and revenue.

  • Coordinate campaign planning and execution with sales & marketing stakeholders, ensuring effective and efficient two-way communication between the marketing and sales teams.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Identify the most effective marketing channels, value proposition and calls to action for personas and key accounts in the regions.

  • Ensure messaging and positioning is consistent with overall marketing strategy in field marketing materials and communication.

  • Research and understand different audience segments to build integrated multi-channel campaigns to support customer/partner acquisition and retention. This includes organizing relevant events, webinars, email and social media efforts.

Sales & Marketing Collaboration:

  • Partner with other teams on campaign concept, messaging, content, creative, promotion and optimisation to ensure effectiveness of events and initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales leaders to understand business objectives and develop in-person and product-focused campaign plans.

  • Work with the Product Marketing Team to deliver campaigns around new product releases for both internal and external stakeholders.

Industry Association & Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, media, event suppliers, publications, partners and community organizations that help meet business outcomes.

  • Seek new partnership opportunities that align with brand and business goals.

  • Oversee Simpro’s presence at relevant industry events including speaking and sponsorship opportunities.

Reporting & KPIs:

  • Define, track and report on metrics, and utilizing this to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  • Forecast, evaluate, and report on campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI) as well as sharing of key learnings and outcomes.



What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of proven experience in field marketing and/or events experience in B2B SaaS, software or technology companies.

  • An orchestrator and collaborator while being both tactical and strategic.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in leveraging data and reporting tools to drive informed decision-making, including the ability to analyze, interpret, and act upon data insights effectively, is a critical requirement for this role.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess program and event data and performance, manage budgets, review and optimize strategies.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across sales, marketing and external vendors and associates..

  • Experience and ability to work independently while progressing multiple priorities forward simultaneously.

  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing initiatives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.

  • Proficient in Google Suite, Salesforce.com, Asana and Looker

  • Ability to travel to US and Canada based trade shows, events and meetings.
