The Job

Simpro is seeking a dynamic, insight-driven Senior Product Marketing Manager to deepen our understanding of buyers, craft compelling messaging, and support go-to-market success across Sales, BDR, Marketing, and Partner teams.

This role will primarily focus on the UK market, supporting both the BigChange and Simpro brands, while also contributing to broader marketing alignment across Simpro Group globally.

This is not a traditional GTM execution role. While you’ll contribute to launch planning, your focus will be upstream: defining who we sell to, why we win, and how we communicate value to accelerate acquisition and expansion.

We're looking for a communicator, storyteller, and collaborator — someone eager to adopt modern AI-powered tools to improve the impact, creativity, and efficiency of product marketing.

This is a hybrid position - with 1-2 days in our Leeds office per week, the rest Remote.

What You’ll Do

Buyer & Market Insights:

  • Refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs), buyer personas, and customer archetypes — along with related messaging, targeting, and sales tools — using insights from customer interviews, win-loss analysis, competitive research, market trends, analyst input, product usage data, and internal subject matter experts.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, Enablement, and the greater Marketing team to uncover and validate critical buyer insights across the UK and other relevant European markets.

  • Collaborate on efforts to expand ClockShark’s UK presence by identifying UK-specific use cases, verticals, ICP nuances, and messaging differences based on its early UK traction and U.S. market success.

Messaging & Positioning:

  • Own the development of core messaging, value propositions, and differentiated narratives across verticals and buyer segments, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise audiences.

  • Collaborate across the Marketing team to review and refine how core messaging is applied across internal and external content — including ABM campaigns, website copy, trade show materials, and Partner collateral.

  • Support go-to-market planning for new capabilities, add-ons, and services by contributing to field-facing deliverables.

Enablement Content & Field Support:

  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership and the Enablement team to develop sales presentations, collateral, targeting frameworks, qualification criteria, battlecards, and objection-handling guides.

  • Partner across the Marketing team to support high-impact campaigns, events, and localized materials — aligning content with buyer needs across regions and verticals.

  • Incorporate competitive intelligence and win-loss insights into field-ready assets such as battlecards and objection-handling guides, and deliver regular readouts on win/loss drivers.

  • Collaborate to define solution differentiation between BigChange and Simpro-UK — helping to define best-fit scenarios and sharpen sales strategy for each offering.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within multi-region or global organisations.

  • Proven success developing buyer personas, messaging frameworks, and enablement content that drive measurable outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to distill complex inputs into clear, audience-ready narratives.

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience aligning stakeholders across departments and time zones.

  • Familiar with tools such as AI-powered writing assistants, competitive intelligence platforms, and sales enablement systems.

  • Highly organized, with a proactive, self-directed work style and strong sense of ownership.

  • Degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA a plus.

Desired:

  • Experience in the Trade and Field Service Management space – including verticals like plumbing, HVAC, electrical, waste management, building maintenance, hire companies, and grounds maintenance.

  • Familiarity with selling to mid-market or enterprise buyers.

  • Experience balancing global messaging consistency with regional market nuance.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.

  • Agile mindset with a continuous improvement approach to product marketing.
