The Job
The People Business Partner will work across various organisational functions to support People Team initiatives, effectively resolve employee relations matters and enhance the employee experience.What You’ll Do
Partner with the business and provide expert people business partnering, support and advice to ensure people are highly engaged, performing and working together to achieve Simpro Group’s mission and strategic goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor, providing expertise, coaching, advice and guidance to improve business efficiency.
Provide guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment legislation to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance, and liaise with the employment solicitors when required.
Build people management capability by providing coaching, guidance and advice on ‘HR’ practice and employment legislation, to ensure compliance and consistency.
Assist line managers in managing performance of team members, providing advice and guidance on addressing performance and conduct issues and concerns.
Manage the exit process for leavers, carry out exit interviews and make recommendations to reduce turnover, improve retention and increase employee engagement.
Partner with global people team members to develop and deliver wellbeing, culture, diversity and engagement initiatives to build and maintain employee engagement.
Liaise with the Finance team to ensure that employees receive accurate contractual pay and benefits.
What You’ll Bring
Substantial experience within a generalist People team.
Current and comprehensive knowledge of HR practice, employment law and data protection laws.
Excellent IT skills and experience using Workday.
High degree of emotional intelligence and an ability to build respectful relationships across and outside the organization.
Ability to manage complex issues and demonstrate clarity of thought and decision-making.
Recognised HR qualification (or demonstrable experience).
