TeamDynamix is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Process Automation engineering team. We are looking for a meticulous QA Engineer who can help elevate the overall quality of our product. This position is ideal for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated individual who wants to holistically own our quality process by uniting functional, manual, and automation testing practices. As a champion of quality, you will apply a risk-based testing approach to prevent defects during design and implementation, as well as excel at identifying bugs.

About the Role

  • Develop and maintain both manual and automated test processes and procedures to ensure software quality

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand new product features

  • Conduct manual testing of new and existing functionality

  • Diagnose issues, report defects, and develop regression tests to prevent issues from recurring

  • Report and document technical issues

  • Create logs to document test cases and defects

  • Report bugs and errors to development teams

  • Help troubleshoot issues

  • Work with customers to identify steps to reproduce issues

  • Collaborate with Tier 1 support to clarify bug reports

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of software testing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technology, math, or science

  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright

  • Experience in a Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, etc.) is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with Quality Management Software and Processes

  • Experience working with REST APIs

  • Proficiency in testing web applications, databases, and interfaces

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write test plans and test cases and effectively communicate bugs to developers and stakeholders

  • Creative problem-solving skills to translate technical requirements into test plans

  • Strong focus on deadlines and deliverables with the ability to quickly identify defects and bugs

  • Abstract thinking skills to avoid conformity and quickly find bugs
