Position Summary:

This role will be an instrumental part in the full life cycle of events with Stova, from initial client calls to event date execution. This person will work with a majority of tier 1 and 2 clients. The Technical Lead is there to provide their experience and knowledge for best solutions to execute the clients event technology needs while utilizing Stova’s software and hardware. This person will work side by side with teams across multiple divisions to ensure all technical needs are met and manage logistics prior to event.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with Project Manager pre-event to execute event operations smoothly and efficiently
  • Serve as main point of contact for key clients onsite (or virtual if applicable to the event)
  • Sit in on weekly client calls, when possible, to gain knowledge of the event and presence with the client
  • Assess client layout, scope and event flow and provide recommendations for successful technical execution, related to Stova, including needs for layout, appropriate hardware, power, wifi and networking
  • Manage onsite logistics for hardware and staff, including testing of hardware and software and pre-event communications to the team that will support the event during “live” dates
  • Provide online support and session facilitation for online Virtual Events.
  • Provide leadership and training to team members onsite and off-site
  • Serve as member of on-call triage escalation team, as needed
  • Between events aid team, within your division or outside, and with projects or tasks, keep up with latest updates/products, assist in creating learning tool/content for team, and provide support on Stova virtual platforms as needed.
  • Travel up to 75% to deliver Stova solutions onsite at client events.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • 3+ years’ experience with event technology. Onsite experience delivering events a plus.
  • Process oriented, with a keen focus on detail start to finish
  • Willingness to jump into any role and get the job done
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal -with ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of a Company
  • Ability to explain technical details to clients in a manner that is understandable
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to think quick on your feet and triage issues properly to ensure minimal disruption to the event/Client.
  • Strong team focus and someone who serves as a leader and example to peers and colleagues
  • Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
