UX/UI Designer

The role is based in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and offers a hybrid work arrangement (3 days per week in the office)

What you’ll be doing:

As the UX/UI Designer, you will create end to end design process for major components of a customer-facing experience: from research to ideation, prototyping to visual design. We are looking for a proactive designer who is willing to challenge the status quo. You’ll work closely with product management and engineering to successfully go from early stage product concept to launch.

· Execute competitive research, trendspotting, and data analysis.

  • Taking problems from concept to implementation quickly.
  • Provide input during creative meetings and collaborating with design and development teams.
  • Create innovative digital experiences and impressive design solutions.
  • Help push our brand expression forward with fresh, innovative ideas.
  • Confidently present a strong rationale for design decisions and rely on analytics and data (including qualitative data) to shape product decisions and track the effectiveness of change.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Significant experience collaborating with developers and knowledge of design for digital best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with user-centered design artifacts that communicate the problem and solution via experience maps, wireflows, mockups, FIGMA/Invision prototypes and usability testing.
  • Fluent in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniques.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs.
  • Able to work independently and have a bias for action in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven to succeed while always being a team player.
  • Experience with design tools such as InVision, Sketch, Figma, etc.
  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Willingness to accept and incorporate feedback.
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and/or 5 to 7 years of experience as a UX/UI designer for a customer-facing SaaS product.
  • In-depth understanding of HTML and CSS, capabilities of web browsers, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), etc.
  • Attention to detail and impeccable execution across structure, layout, interactivity and web.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Portfolio of work.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience designing services and delivering UX solutions for projects of large scope and complexity.
  • Experience owning projects, communicating timelines and executing independently.
