Summary of the Role

As a Financial Analyst at RamSoft, you’ll be part of building our Commercial Finance Centre of Excellence. Your goal will be to drive value creation across the business, with dedicated support to our go-to-market (Sales & Marketing) and Finance teams. You will deliver actionable insights by leveraging real-time performance data from Sales Ops, Finance, and People Ops, ensuring the business executes effectively against its strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Compile, analyze, and present financial data to management monthly.
  • Provide variance analysis with clear insights into business performance drivers.
  • Support preparation of budgets, forecasts, and investment ROI analysis.
  • Monitor IT and technology-related spending, including cloud infrastructure costs.

Business Partnering

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to align financial insights with strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across geographies.

Data & Analytics

  • Create visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to automation and enable self-service reporting for executive leadership.

Operational & Policy Support

  • Contribute to financial policies and procedures to strengthen controls.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality reporting with no control failures.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests within agreed timelines.

What You’ll Bring

  • Mandatory: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with at least 2+ years of post-qualification experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a hands-on environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Adaptive Insights, Xero, or similar financial systems.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Timely and accurate reporting, with insightful commentary.
  • Zero control failures in financial processes.
  • Delivery of operational and ad hoc reports within deadlines (less than 24 hours for urgent requests).
