What You Will Be Part Of

As Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in building a strong, accurate, and scalable accounting function at Radix. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will own core accounting operations while leading and developing our Senior Accountant and Accounts Receivable team member.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is comfortable moving between the details and the bigger picture. You will be responsible for ensuring our books are accurate, our accounting processes are running effectively, and leadership has reliable financial information to support business decisions.

You will also have the opportunity to identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and help our accounting function continue to mature as Radix grows.

What You Will Achieve

  • Own the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

  • Review financial transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting policies

  • Lead and develop the Senior Accountant and Accounts Receivable team member, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability

  • Maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported in QuickBooks Online and other relevant systems

  • Own the accounts receivable and collections process, including aging review, collection follow-up, escalation of overdue balances, and assessment of potentially uncollectible accounts

  • Maintain accurate cash reconciliations and provide leadership with clear visibility into cash position, expected collections, and near-term cash flow

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as the company grows

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve accounting processes, including the use of technology, automation, and AI to reduce manual work and strengthen the accounting function

  • Partner directly with the COO and other business leaders to provide accurate financial information, explain financial trends and variances, and support informed business decisions

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and other financial planning and analysis activities as needed

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other third-party providers, ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial information and supporting documentation

  • Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately, consistently, and on schedule, with clear ownership and accountability across the accounting team.

  • Build scalable accounting processes and controls that can support Radix as the company continues to grow and evolve.
