Implementation Team Lead

The Implementation Team Lead is a "player/coach" role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Implementation Resource Management. This role is designed to provide cohesion, guidance, and direction to the implementation team, ensuring team members are properly utilized and supported. The Team Lead will work closely with each team member on cross-skilling/upskilling and will be responsible for the overall team's utilization. This position serves as an introduction to people leadership for individuals interested in pursuing a career in this area.
Job Duties
• Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and best practices to the implementation team. Ensure team members are properly utilized and supported. Meet weekly with each team member with a focus on project activities and utilization.
• Resource Management: Partner closely with the Sr. Manager, Implementation Resource Management on resource assignments, understanding the ebb and flow of work, and ensure any changes or absences are properly covered.
• Project Oversight: Ensure all projects are moving forward, systems are being utilized and maintained properly. Collaborate with the Conversion team on any conversion related issues. Work with each team member to make certain that project changes, issues, and risks are being properly addressed.
• Cross-Skilling/Upskilling: Work closely with each team member on cross-skilling/upskilling to enhance their capabilities. Leverage internal resources and upcoming customer opportunities to enhance each team members learning path.
• Client Interaction: Serve as an escalated point of contact (internal and external) during the implementation process with responsiveness and customer care.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with other Team Leads on process improvements and be key to onboarding and offboarding team members.
• Project Work: Spend 70% of time delivering project work.
Skills and Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects.
• 2+ years of experience implementing Planet DDS products
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage through conflict.
• Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
• Exceptional time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability and availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Previous experience in a SaaS company and/or healthcare/dental is beneficial.
