Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their work, and partners well cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Own end-to-end payroll processing, including coordination with external payroll providers, review of payroll registers, and posting payroll-related journal entries
  • Manage customer invoicing processes, ensuring timely, accurate billing and coordination with RevOps, Sales, and Customer Success as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
  • Partner with FP&A, RevOps, and other teams to support reporting and analysis needs
  • Assist with system implementations, process automation, and accounting improvements
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed (e.g., due diligence, system migrations, acquisitions)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred)
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience with month-end close in a fast-growing environment
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with payroll processing and customer invoicing; familiarity with payroll providers and billing systems is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter mindset with a desire to continuously improve processes
