Role Overview

Ninth Wave is looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Professional Services to lead our professional services division. As the Head of Professional Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our services delivery, client relationships, and the growth and profitability of the division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing professional services teams, a deep understanding of the industry, technology and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the professional services practice, including identifying market trends, client needs, and service offerings.
  • Collaborate on business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, nurturing leads, and expanding the client base to achieve revenue growth targets.?
  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and client-focused culture.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality services to clients, meeting their needs, deadlines, and budget requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and providing strategic insights and solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to align strategies, leverage resources, and drive overall business success.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and lead efforts to continually enhance and innovate our service offerings.
  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics, such as project profitability, client satisfaction, and employee utilization, taking necessary actions to meet and exceed targets.
  • Manage and optimize resource allocation, ensuring the appropriate staffing levels and skill sets to meet client demands and project requirements.
  • Represent the company and the professional services division at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, and actively contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master’s degree preferred)
  • 15+years of experience in the professional services or consultant/advisory role, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Deep knowledge of the investment accounting industry, including trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools to manage project delivery and performance metrics.
