JOB OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Engineering for the Therapy Business Unit will provide strategic and operational leadership for the unit’s engineering organization. This leader will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing engineering team, modernizing practices, and delivering scalable, cloud-based SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure.
The VP will work closely with the Therapy Division President to align engineering execution with business strategy, and with Net Health’s CTO to ensure technical standards, security, and innovation are consistent across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the Therapy Division President to plan and execute on the business strategy.
- Align engineering strategy with enterprise technology direction under guidance of the Net Health CTO.
- Drive transformation of the Therapy BU’s engineering function into a modern, cloud-first, DevOps-driven organization.
- Engineering & Product Delivery
- Lead and manage a distributed engineering team (onshore and offshore, 50+).
- Collaborate with Product Management to deliver innovative, secure, and reliable SaaS solutions for therapy customers.
- Transform legacy solutions into cloud-native products on Microsoft Azure.
- Establish KPIs and metrics for engineering performance, velocity, and quality.
- Technology & Operations
- Ensure adherence to Net Health engineering policies, standards, and architectural frameworks.
- Implement best practices in agile, DevOps, and “you build it, you run it” software development.
- Oversee budgets, resource planning, and vendor management to meet business goals.
- Champion innovation in product development, automation, and process efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top engineering talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Enable cross-functional collaboration across product, operations, customer success, and enterprise engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive engineering leadership, with experience leading organizations of 50+ engineers.
- Proven track record in SaaS product development and delivery; healthcare software experience strongly preferred.
- Deep expertise in Azure-based SaaS architectures, microservices, APIs, and enterprise security.
- Experience modernizing legacy software into scalable, cloud-native solutions.
- Strong background in agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud operations.
- Demonstrated success building and developing distributed engineering teams (onshore/offshore).
- Healthcare experience is big Plus
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $204,000.00 - $255,000.00 USD + up to $33,750.00 USD OTI
