- Define testing scope, coverage, and timelines in collaboration with Leadership, Development, and Design teams.
- Develop strategies and methods that bring clarity and rigor to our testing approach.
- Regularly update and review testing documentation to reflect the latest standards and processes and ensure alignment with testing requirements.
- Set entry and exit criteria that guarantee a smooth, effective testing process.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of relevant test cases.
- Provide critical feedback and insights to enhance our software development lifecycle, contributing to continuous improvement.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing with stakeholders, ensuring the product meets business needs and user expectations.
- Evaluate and select testing tools for optimal efficiency, from cross-browser testing solutions to bug tracking and test management tools, building a toolkit that best serves the team.
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web-based applications, ideally consumer-facing products.
- Proficient in designing test plans, writing test scenarios, and translating acceptance criteria into comprehensive test cases, both positive and negative.
- Strong knowledge of diverse testing techniques (e.g., Black Box, API, Regression, Usability, Exploratory, and Ad-Hoc Testing).
- Experience collaborating across teams; able to explain detailed test cases and results to non-QA staff and contribute insights to product improvements.
- Intermediate English speaking skills, level B2 or greater.
- Experience in mobile testing across iOS/Android platforms, with a strong understanding of cross-platform testing challenges and best practices.
- Database usage proficiency, with the ability to write and execute queries to support comprehensive testing efforts.
- Comfortable using Test Management Tools, Bug Trackers, and tools like Firebase, GitHub, Figma, and Postman.
- Analytical mindset and detail-oriented, with an ability to triage bugs effectively and advocate for high-priority fixes.
- Eagerness to grow in automation testing; prior experience is a bonus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
