Location: Toulouse, France (50% remote and 50% in office)

As Paralegal/Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with commercial contracts at Inbenta. You will be a key member of the legal and compliance team and will help us improve and scale our contracting processes. You will also help the department on various corporate compliance, privacy and related matters. Your fluency in French and ability to translate contracts and legal terms will be critically important for this role. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of Inbenta and needs of clients and employees.

Primary Contracting Responsibilities

  • Draft, revise and review contracts, NDAs, SOWs, contracting questionnaires, and other documents
  • Analyze requested edits from clients or other parties and provide summaries and recommendations to legal colleagues
  • Assist with negotiating contractual terms
  • Translate contracts and other legal documents into French
  • Assist the sales team by providing expertise on contracting processes and company positions
  • Help Inbenta improve its contracting processes by taking an ownership role
  • Support the ongoing use of our contract management systems
  • Assist in developing and maintaining playbooks, FAQs etc., and provide training to staff on contracting processes

Primary Compliance Responsibilities

  • Assist with Inbenta’s compliance program activities
  • Assist with policy drafting, maintenance and audits
  • Assist Compliance colleagues with translations to and from French
  • Analyze and complete compliance questionnaires and similar requests, partnering with cross functional partners like security, HR, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant training and experience to effectively perform the role
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience in contract management
  • Fluency and expertise in translating contracts and legal terms between English and French
  • Comfortable in fast pace environments and enjoys bringing solutions to complicated problems
  • Experience in building and implementing scalable processes
  • Outstanding computer, oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, Conga, Smartsheet and the Microsoft and Google suite of products

Preferences

  • Knowledge and experience in privacy and corporate compliance (particularly ISO standards)
  • Experience with compliance auditing preparation
  • Certifications applicable for this position (such contract management, paralegal, CIPP or compliance certifications)
