As an AI Engineer at Hoxhunt, you will help shape how we use AI internally. Your mission is to design, build, and evolve intelligent agentic systems that automate workflows, solve operational bottlenecks, and unlock entirely new ways of working across our organization.
This is a highly hands-on engineering role focused on real production impact, not experimentation for experimentation’s sake. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to deeply understand problems, challenge assumptions, and build smarter solutions than what was initially requested.
The space is evolving rapidly, which means we are looking for someone who is genuinely excited about agentic coding, autonomous systems, and AI-native software development. Someone who moves fast, learns constantly, and enjoys exploring better ways to build software altogether.
What you’ll own and drive
Build intelligent AI agents and automation systems that improve operational efficiency across Hoxhunt.
Design and develop production-grade applications, integrations, and internal tooling that support agent workflows.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to solve operational challenges with scalable technical solutions.
Continuously explore and adopt new AI tooling, agentic development workflows, and engineering approaches.
Help shape how Hoxhunt builds and operates AI-native software internally.
What success looks like
In your first three months, you will become highly productive in our environment, shipping automation workflows, integrations, and AI-powered operational improvements that create visible value for internal teams.
By month six, you will independently lead larger automation and agent initiatives end-to-end, helping establish scalable foundations for how AI systems are built and operated across Hoxhunt.
What makes you thrive here
You probably already have a strong software engineering foundation, but more importantly, you are deeply curious about how AI and agentic systems are changing software development itself. We’d love to hear about what you’ve worked on, how it was built, and why it was a success.
You have:
Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience building production-grade systems before or alongside the rise of modern AI tooling.
Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or similar AI-native development environments.
Experience building modern applications, integrations, or platforms using technologies such as TypeScript/Node.js/React or Python.
Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while maintaining structured, high-quality execution.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Curiosity and excitement around AI-native software development, automation, and solving real operational problems through technology.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll be the 3rd member of a highly collaborative and forward-looking team focused on exploring how AI can create real operational leverage across Hoxhunt.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders across our internal teams while partnering with engineers who are actively exploring AI-native ways of building software. The team values curiosity, ownership, fast iteration, and practical impact over rigid processes or hierarchy.
This is a team for people who enjoy experimenting, learning quickly, and constantly rethinking how work should be done.

Compensation: Monthly salary of €5500–€7000 depending on your experience.
