Senior Software Engineer (Team Lead)

We are looking for an experienced technical leader to spearhead the team in the launch of our latest product. In this greenfield initiative, you will play a key role in setting the architectural direction and implementing scalable engineering practices. You will work closely with product management and other engineering teams, make key technical decisions to support our strategy, and guarantee the effective rollout of our new product. Your contribution will be instrumental in defining the trajectory of our product portfolio.

What you'll do:

  • Set architectural direction and engineering practices with the team
  • Lead the team in delivering high-quality, scalable software
  • Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align technical decisions with the company's strategic direction
  • Mentor and engage in the development of team members

Required skills:

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of working with several large-scale software products
  • Experience leading technical teams and setting architectural direction
  • Proficiency in coding with languages such as TypeScript, Go and Python
  • Strong ability to balance execution and velocity with security, reliability and maintainability
  • Comfortable with managing technical uncertainty

Preferred Skills:

  • You’re confident about representing your ideas and opinions as well as open to receive and look for more data and feedback
  • Experience in streaming data systems
  • Experience in recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management

Our recruitment process:

  1. Screening interview (30min remote)
  2. Second interview (45min, at our office or remote)
  3. Homework related to your role followed by a panel interview (max 90min independent work plus 60min interview at our office or remote)
  4. Reference checks
