Job Description
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the entire new business sales cycle, from generating prospects through to contract signature. This is a full-time and remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Higher Logic’s new business development efforts in the Canadian market and provide frequent market-specific feedback to sales, marketing and product functions to help unlock the sizeable market potential.
- Generate a high-value pipeline of new potential customers through consistent prospecting development in the market.
- Strategically qualify and close new business prospects leveraging Higher Logic’s sales process.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of all sales pipeline activity in SFDC , including leads, prospects, forecasts and account planning information.
- Maintain the highest level of expertise on Higher Logic’s suite of solutions and effectively articulate the value and impact to prospective customers.
- Deliver compelling tailored online web presentations to prospects.
- Create, negotiate and close contract agreements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information.
- Meet or exceed quarterly annual sales quotas.
- Attend relevant industry functions, events and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree minimum requirement.
- 7+ years of full-cycle sales experience in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Ability to effectively overcome and address prospect objections and drive sales.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic negotiation skills.
- Must be outgoing and self-motivated.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Experience working with Salesforce preferred.
