Senior Manager of Product Marketing Job Purpose

The Senior Manager of Product Marketing leads the development and direction of all product marketing assets at headversity. You will work with PMs, marketers, and various other functions to assess, build, and deploy product communications and campaign strategies. You will use internal insights and client feedback to grow product marketing, increase client retention and strengthen the client experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enable effective communication of headversity’s unique value to our target audiences.
  • Engage with all directly relevant functions to develop go-to-market communications collateral, drive product launches and empower existing client campaigns.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product metrics.
  • Partner with the Product, Impact, Sales, and Client Success teams to track KPIs, collect data, execute campaigns, and regularly report on outcomes.
  • Drive growth by understanding buyer pain points and creating content that uniquely positions our differentiators.
  • Lead the product marketing strategy, working closely with the Director of Product and the CMO, as well as the CTO and COO to drive business objectives.
  • Develop market positioning and cut-through product messaging to differentiate headversity from industry competitors.
  • Ensure the development and creation of high-quality collateral to support the product.
  • Expand our product marketing on our owned media channels and paid channels, including conferences and webinar partnerships.
  • Own product-related sales enablement, supporting the sales team through a complex sale process.
  • Create, manage, experiment, and execute a wide range of new user campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years' experience in product marketing for a SaaS company
  • You have created engaging content that exceeds industry benchmark engagement.
  • You have an excellent understanding of B2B digital products and have a track record of creating collateral that captures the attention of clients and users – and helps covert that attention to purchasing or re-engagement decisions.
  • You know how to tie marketing results to business impact.
  • You have experience working across multiple departments & teams.
  • Expert proficiency with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and WordPress You have a strong understanding of demand gen best practices, including mapping programs to the prospect and customer journey.
  • You have exceptional writing capabilities to create compelling copy for e-mails, landing pages, and other communication vehicles.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and an ability to find stories and trends in data.
  • Previous Team Leadership experience is an asse.

Working Conditions

  • May require working evenings and weekends.
  • May require travel.
