About the Role

Fivetran has an exciting career opportunity for a Procurement Senior Manager, who will be responsible for leading Global Procurement Operations, overseeing third-party day-to-day vendor screenings and compliance as well as assisting in vendor management and recurring strategic sourcing negotiations. The position will be responsible for maturing Fivetran's Source-to-Pay practice which entails vendor onboarding, purchase order review/approval, procurement operations, metrics, and analytics.

This role is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated background in procurement and vendor management, capable of both hands-on individual contribution and strong project and program leadership in a dynamic fast paced environment. The individual must demonstrate highly effective collaboration internally and externally, have a passionate focus on success, commitment to continuous improvement and a relentless drive to win.

The role will proactively develop, maintain and execute plans for our vendor portfolio and in collaboration with our business partners, be primarily responsible for ensuring a seamless Source-to-Pay experience. Key responsibilities will include overseeing the Coupa purchase-to-pay module and manage all requisitions along with providing final PO approval.

Likewise, this role will oversee Procurement training and policy drafting around controls. The successful candidate must have strong analytical and communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships with senior level stakeholders across the organization to ensure overall alignment of objectives and priorities. The position will report to the Director of Procurement & Strategic Sourcing.

What You’ll Do

  • Be responsible for daily procurement activities - be a hands-on leader that understands and performs tactical and operational requisition review and approval
  • Develop robust source to pay processes, including a vendor management office/ vendor base
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including legal, security, FP&A and internal business partners to identify, understand and fulfill their procurement requirements
  • Responsible for Coupa purchasing module & management of requisitions and final approver of all PO’s
  • Program manage vendor compliance activities from a finance perspective including Coupa tool integration
  • Responsible for leading insight from Coupa Analytics and harnessing reporting to business leadership
  • Responsible for improving the Contingent Workforce management processes from a finance perspective
  • Responsible for completing quarterly category spend analysis and evaluating spend patterns/ cost savings efficiencies
  • Identify risks associated with key vendors and manage and monitor vendor performance against negotiated SLA and MSA terms
  • Update the procurement policy and vendor risk management policies
  • Establish, measure, and report on OKRs, KPIs and global procurement strategy
  • Revamp the global procurement training program for both internal stakeholders and vendors

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement or vendor management experience; high growth technology environment preferred
  • Strong management skills, including communicating, directing, planning, organizing and problem solving
  • Strong communication and program management polish to demonstrate project status, key actions, risks and opportunities
  • Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with standard contract terms and tolerances, including best practices and industry standard positions on key terms.
  • Superior interpersonal and presentation skills with proven track record of success in prior roles
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills to problem solving with a focus on managing within a team environment with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Proactively work to resolve performance issues with assigned vendors to ensure effective and timely resolution
  • Ability to successfully leverage technology and financial systems to extract and analyze data
