About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Database Marketing Manager to lead our database marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B demand generation marketing, marketing operations, and campaign execution. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our prospect database, developing targeted marketing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.

This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland or Denver offices or remote.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive email database strategy that supports segmentation, personalization, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and health of the email database.
  • Own the Marketo architecture to ensure strategic audience targeting and efficient email campaign execution.
  • Enable and operationalize data-driven audience targeting strategies to ensure emails reach the most relevant recipients.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define audience personas and segmentation criteria.
  • Establish and enforce email marketing best practices across the organization.
  • Share best practices and create a conduit for cross-team collaboration around email best practices.
  • Develop a framework to enable teams to manage their email marketing calendar, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach to email campaigns.
  • Partner with the demand generation team to operationalize data-driven email campaigns and ensure seamless execution.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of different segments to refine strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the growth and trends of the database

Skills We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing Operations and/or MarTech.
  • Minimum 5 years of Marketo experience and/or owning or administration of the system with a focus on email and nurture strategy
  • Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to staying current with the latest trends and best practices in marketing technology.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.


Pay Range
$112,000$140,000 USD
