About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven leader to join our team as the Director of Global Revenue Operations. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for optimizing and scaling our revenue operations processes to drive efficiency, revenue growth, and customer success across the globe. Fivetran is at a pivotal moment as we scale our GTM processes and tech stack to continue our rocketship growth. Your leadership will be critical in helping us get to our next stage of maturity.

This is a full-time position based out of the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive global revenue operations strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, customer success, and finance functions.

  • Revenue Performance & Process Management:

    • Working with senior revenue leaders, implement and optimize revenue performance management processes to drive predictable and scalable revenue growth. This includes clearly defined and enforced ROE, success metrics, and seller expectations.

    • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, and oversee the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of revenue operations processes, including lead-to-cash, pricing, forecasting, and pipeline inspection.

    • Drive data quality, integrity, standardization, and controls through rigorous process enforcement and data audits.

  • Field Reporting:

    • Leverage insights and analysis to serve as a trusted business partner to Fivetran’s Senior Revenue Leaders

    • Partner with the GTM Analytics and Insights teams to establish and maintain robust operational reporting and analytics capabilities to provide actionable insights into key revenue metrics.

    • Work with the GTM Insights team to use data-driven metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and guide strategic decision-making.

  • Technology Stack Management:

    • Evaluate, implement, and optimize the use of revenue operations technologies, ensuring that our tech stack supports scalability, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

    • Collaborate with Engineering to integrate and customize systems for optimal performance.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Foster strong collaboration between sales, marketing, customer success, partnerships, and product teams to ensure a unified approach to revenue generation and customer satisfaction.

    • Partner with Strategy, Enablement, Analytics, Revenue Insights, Compensation, and Marketing Operations leaders to deliver on key projects.

    • Drive continuous improvement through cross-functional initiatives and communication.

  • Leadership:

    • Lead a team of Revenue Operations professionals that are charged with

      • Partnering with Senior Revenue Leaders to hit targets efficiently

      • Defining our GTM processes to ensure a scaled GTM motion with predictable outcomes

      • Ensuring our tech stack serves our sellers while also gathering the data needed to provide insights to the business

      • Responding to critical sales operations requests (e.g. SFDC cases, customer experience credit requests, etc.), identifying the root cause and addressing

    • Continuously coach, develop and retain talent within the Revenue Operations organization.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 7-10 years of proven experience in revenue operations within a SaaS/tech company with a track record of driving revenue growth.

  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing, and customer success operations.

  • Expertise in revenue operations technologies and data analytics.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.

  • Equally comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization from ICs to C-level executives.

  • Experience leading multiple concurrent large scale operational projects from inception to successful and timely completion

  • You have experience with the GTM tech stack. Fivetran’s tech stack currently includes Salesforce, Marketo, Leandata, Clari, Catalyst, Chorus, and Looker.

  • 5 years of people leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required; MBA is a plus


The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.

Pay Range
$180,400$225,500 USD
