We are seeking a Senior Director for Worldwide Partner Programs and Partner Strategy to become an integral part of the Fivetran Partner Organization (FPO) and contribute to the ongoing expansion of our partner ecosystem. Collaborating closely with the VP of Worldwide Partners, you will play a key role in developing a comprehensive three-year partner strategy. This involves establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the FPO in consultation with Fivetran's CFO and sales leadership. Your responsibilities will extend to monitoring global partner performance to effectively communicate the value of partners within the Fivetran framework.

As part of your role, you will take ownership of the conception and oversight of global partner programs, as well as the implementation of incentives, certifications, and operational tracking for our global team. Your strategic input and management will be pivotal in fostering the continued success of Fivetran's partner initiatives.

This is a full-time position based out of our Oakland or Denver offices. It may also be based remotely throughout the USA.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive the Fivetran Partner Organization (FPO) strategy and development of levers, KPIs, ROI and articulate the value of the partner ecosystem by route to market to Finance, Sales, and various other internal Execs
  • Accountable for the design, rollout, and management of the Fivetran Partner Network program and portal that governs the programmatic experience and partner incentives for all Services and Technology partners globally.
  • Conduct a needs analysis in the first 3-6 months of the Fivetran Partner Portal and evaluate changing vendors.
  • Define the desired investment in Fivetran expected of "good, better, and best" partners and help to ensure Partner field resources are allocated to the best partners.
  • Manage a team that delivers global programs for SI, GSI, Hyperscalers, and ISV Partners
  • Manage partner operations - partner payments, partner onboarding, partner enablement, partner incentives, partner certifications, and accountability for the partner incentive budget and yearly planning.
  • Designs and manages global reseller and MSP strategy, including how to manage channel conflict best.
  • Hands-on experience and expectation to get in the trenches and drive results.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Manages a small team (1 at the start) to drive outcomes and results
  • Delivers projects on time, and is able to execute initiatives from start to finish on your own. You are expected to be a doer, not just manage
  • Strong experience in creating annual plans, working with Finance and legal, and measuring and reporting results to executives
  • 10+ years in Program Management, Strategy, or Operations
  • Partner Program Management experience is a must

  • Experience working with Zinfi PRM or Salesforce PRM

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.


Pay Range
$182,000$227,500 USD
