About the position

We’re looking for a Sales Agent to join our partner agency’s team in Buenos Aires, working remotely on a part-time freelance basis.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for Italian and Spanish-speaking travelers, guiding them through the experience of planning their trip to the beautiful destinations of Argentina and Chile. You’ll work closely with the local team in Buenos Aires to ensure every dossier is well-crafted, every traveler feels supported, and every journey reflects the agency’s tailor-made spirit.

Your main missions

🧭 Advising customers & tailoring trips

  • Connect with travelers through the platform and understand their expectations from the very first exchange

  • Craft personalized travel proposals that reflect each client’s needs, interests, and travel style

  • Translate your destination knowledge into compelling, well-structured itineraries

🧳 Managing the practical aspects of the trip

  • Handle the billing of travelers accurately and within the expected timelines

  • Coordinate practical logistics to ensure smooth dossier management

  • Keep all operational details organized and up to date throughout the process

🌟 Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the trip

  • Act as the main point of contact for travelers before and during their journey

  • Respond proactively to any questions or issues that arise on the ground

  • Collect post-trip feedback and nurture traveler loyalty through attentive follow-up

📊 Administrative & financial management

  • Report sales activity regularly and accurately to the internal team

  • Maintain clear and reliable documentation of each dossier

  • Support the team’s visibility into pipeline and performance

🌱 Promoting responsible & sustainable travel

  • Integrate sustainability practices into your traveler interactions and recommendations

  • Help raise awareness around responsible tourism choices within the proposals you build

Preferred experience

Core skills & experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in tourism, sales, or a related field

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a natural ability to connect with clients

  • Solid knowledge of Argentina as a travel destination

  • High level of organization and attention to detail — you manage multiple dossiers without losing track

  • Customer-satisfaction oriented: you go the extra mile to make travelers feel well taken care of

  • A creative problem-solver who adapts easily to changing needs or unexpected situations

Bonus skills

  • Experience working with OTAs, DMCs, or travel platforms

  • Familiarity with sustainable or responsible tourism practices

Languages required

  • 🇮🇹 Italian – C1/B2

  • 🇪🇸 Spanish – C1/B2

  • 🇬🇧 English – B2

Non-negotiables

  • Fluency in Italian and Spanish is mandatory; English is a strong plus

  • Discipline and respect for internal processes and deadlines

  • Genuine autonomy and ability to work independently in a remote setup
