The position

Job description

As a Sales Agent for the French-speaking market, you will be the key link between the wonders of Tanzania and travelers seeking a once-in-a-lifetime experience. As part of the team for the french market, your role is to transform dreams into perfectly executed itineraries, managing the relationship with clients from the first contact on the Evaneos platform to their return home.

Based in Arusha, with occasional visits to the head office in Dar es Salaam, you will work in an environment where creativity in trip design and precision in operations are equally valued.

💼 Your main missions

🧭 Sales & customer support

  • Get in touch with travelers through the Evaneos platform to understand their expectations and specific needs.

  • Provide expert guidance on Tanzanian destinations, cultures, and traditions to inspire potential travelers.

  • Design customized, high-quality itineraries that align with the agency’s premium and sustainable standards.

💼 Operations & practical management

  • Prepare and validate detailed quotes, ensuring accuracy in pricing and logistics.

  • Manage the billing process for travelers with rigor and attention to detail.

🌟 Customer care & quality during the trip

  • Act as the main point of contact for travelers during their stay, ensuring a seamless experience.

  • Perform quality monitoring and handle any complaints, cancellations, or issues with a solution-oriented mindset.

  • Collect traveler feedback to ensure long-term loyalty and continuous improvement.

🌱 Responsible tourism

  • Promote sustainability practices by educating travelers on their local impact.

  • Select eco-conscious suppliers and partners that align with the agency’s responsible mission.

📊 Administrative & Financial Tasks

  • Track the profitability of each dossier and report sales performance to management.

  • Manage supplier contracts to ensure the best quality and cooperation for the travelers.


💰 Contract conditions

📅 Type of contract: Long term / Permanent.

📍 Location: Arusha, Tanzania (on-site).

🤝 Start date: Starting as soon as possible (within 3 months).

Working time: Full-time with flexible working hours.

💲 Compensation: To be discussed with the agency at the interview

Preferred experience

Core skills & experience

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in tourism, sales, customer service, or hospitality.

  • Proven ability in negotiation and a strong orientation toward customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Solid knowledge of Tanzania as a destination (safaris, logistics, and regions).

  • A good, proactive, and positive personality is essential to fit the agency’s family culture.

Languages required

  • French: Native or C1 level (Mandatory).

  • English: B2 level.

Bonus skills

  • Proficiency in Italian or Spanish is a significant plus.

  • Previous experience working with DMCs or the Evaneos platform.
