This role focuses on the French-speaking market, designing and selling tailor-made trips in Japan for international travelers. Based in Tokyo, the position is on-site, encouraging close collaboration with the local team and partners.
As a Sales Agent, you will be involved throughout the full customer journey: from the first contact and trip design to follow-up during and after the trip. This role combines sales, customer support, and operational coordination, with strong onboarding and training to help you grow into the position.

💼 Your main missions
🧭 Sales & customer support
Understand travelers’ expectations, preferences, and constraints to design relevant and inspiring itineraries.
Communicate with clients via the Evaneos platform, providing clear, attentive, and professional support.
Design customized travel programs highlighting destinations, culture, and local experiences in Japan.
Support travelers throughout the booking and decision-making process.
💼 Operations & practical management
Prepare and validate quotations in line with agency processes and margin objectives.
Manage billing and ensure accurate financial follow-up for each travel file.
Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution once trips are confirmed.
🌟 Customer care & quality during the trip
Act as the main point of contact for travelers before and during their journey.
Handle changes, issues, or complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Collect post-trip feedback and contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
📊 Administrative & financial tasks
Track file profitability and support sales reporting.
Share activity updates and results with the management team.
🌱 Responsible tourism
Educate travelers about local cultural, social, and environmental impact.
Promote sustainable and responsible travel practices throughout the customer journey.
💰 Contract conditions
📅 Type of contract: Long-term / Permanent
📍 Location: Tokyo, Japan
⏰ Working time: Full-time
📆 Start date: Within 3 months (April)
💲 Compensation: Fixed remuneration to be discussed + fixed commission per dossier or sale

Profil recherché
At least 1 year of experience in tourism, sales, or customer service (tourism experience is a plus, but not mandatory).
Strong sales and customer-orientation skills, with ease in client communication.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail when managing several files simultaneously.
Autonomous, reliable, and comfortable working within structured processes.
Genuine interest in Japan and tailor-made travel (destination knowledge can be developed during onboarding).
Team spirit, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset.
🌐 Languages required
French: Native or C1
English: B2
🚫 Non-negotiables
Candidate must be under 30 years old to be eligible for the Working Holiday Visa in Japan.
Eligible passport for the Japanese Working Holiday Visa is required.
After 1 year, the agency sponsors a work visa.
