The Opportunity

We’re looking for a structured and security-conscious Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our Product & Technology team.

This is not a reactive helpdesk role. It’s a hands-on position responsible for managing user access, supporting endpoints, strengthening internal controls, and continuously improving the way IT operates across our global teams (Australia, US and France).

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our people have the right access, the right devices, and the right support securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Identity & Access Management

• Manage end-to-end user lifecycle processes (onboarding, role changes, offboarding)

• Administer Microsoft 365 / Entra ID accounts, groups and permissions

• Ensure timely deprovisioning and minimise access risk

• Contribute to improving access governance and documentation

Endpoint & Device Management

• Provision and configure Windows and macOS devices

• Manage devices through Intune (or similar MDM platforms)

• Maintain secure configurations, patching and compliance standards

• Oversee hardware procurement and lifecycle management

Structured Technical Support

• Act as first point of contact for internal IT support

• Troubleshoot issues using a logical, step-by-step approach

• Prioritise effectively across multiple regions and time zones

• Escalate appropriately while maintaining ownership

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to streamline manual IT processes

• Support automation initiatives (e.g. scripting, workflow optimisation)

• Maintain clear documentation and user guidance materials

• Implement improvements with appropriate risk consideration

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing users and permissions in Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (or similar cloud identity platforms)

• Strong understanding of access control principles and security implications of poor offboarding

• Hands-on experience managing business laptops and devices

• Experience with Intune or similar device management tools

• Structured and calm troubleshooting approach

• Clear, confident communication style

• Collaborative mindset with empathy for end users

• Exposure to scripting or process automation is highly regarded
