Your Impact

The Director of Product Engineering is responsible for the operational and technical leadership and inspiration of the technology team. This position plays a key role in developing the products that will transform the way citizens and government interact and is responsible for leading the development team to produce high levels of production and quality.

What You’ll Do

As a Director, Product Engineering, you will:

  • Lead departmental strategy and operations by maintaining the PE budget, evaluating efficiency opportunities, and aligning long-term business plans with company goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Champion a customer-centric culture, ensuring the Voice of the Customer drives product effectiveness, quality, and continuous improvement across engineering initiatives.
  • Develop and empower talent by mentoring key staff, recruiting and supervising engineering managers, and fostering a high-performance environment rooted in accountability and growth.
  • Drive technical excellence and innovation by staying current with development methodologies and technology trends, setting effective policies, and partnering with executive leadership to shape and execute strategic roadmaps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in creating operational efficiency and providing technology leadership
  • Experience with managing a departmental budget- LEAN experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering organizations through periods of rapid yet strategic growth
  • Successful track record of building diverse, inclusive teams
  • Tenured experience within Saas organizations is required
  • Experience working with onshore, offshore and nearshore development resource

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated Salary Grade Range: $155,100 – $241,900
    • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
