Description
Lead Quality Analyst: Manage multiple projects and the execution of various types of manual testing. Ensure the correct implementation of QA/Dev strategy and best practices by developing, evaluating and analyzing test strategies including automation scripts utilizing TargetProcess, Whiteboard, Excel, Git and Visual Studio. Identify areas for improvement by monitoring and analyzing logs with Graylog, New Relic, DataDog and Microsoft Application Insights. Guide and translate high-level strategies into actionable items for product teams. Ensure that the QA Analysts have the necessary tools and resources to maintain the quality of releases and products at a high standard. Keep the QA resources and documentation organized with mind mapping tools such as Xmind. Collaborate with the QA Manager to develop a roadmap for the QA team, outlining strategic objectives, milestones, and key initiatives. Conduct assessment of current processes, identify areas for improvement, and align the roadmap with organizational goals. Track the progress of continuous improvement initiatives, measure their impact, and adapt strategies as needed to ensure sustained growth and excellence within the QA teams. Research market trends affecting QA by reviewing whitepapers, articles and blogs related to the industry to stay abreast of the latest trends, technological advances, and industry events including advancements in testing methodologies, emerging tools, industry best practices, and regulatory updates. Disseminate relevant insights and updates to the QA team to facilitate continuous learning. Mentor and provide training to all QA Analyst positions. Conduct year-end appraisals and monitor progress on Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and perform quarterly IDP evaluations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
Four years of quality assurance analysis experience to include:
- Agile methodologies.
- Manage multiple projects.
- Azure DevOps to build, test, and deploy code.
- TargetProcess for testing, reporting and project management.
- Write test cases, test plans, and form test strategies using Mind Mapping tools (XMind).
- Automation scripts with Git and Visual Studio.
- Functional testing, system testing, regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- API testing with Postman and performance testing using JMeter.
- Execute manual test cases.
- Replicate and report defects, and verify fixes using MySQL Workbench and PuTTY.
- Monitor and analyze logs with Graylog, New Relic, DataDog and Microsoft Application Insights.
- Data management with MySQL.
- AWS EC2 and Lambda.
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus four years of experience, a Master's degree plus two years of experience is acceptable.
This position allows for remote work from anywhere within the U.S.
Salary range $146,436 to $156,600 per year.
